Admiral have teamed up with Portsmouth FC to revive two of Pompey's greatest kits
To celebrate Portsmouth FC's 125th anniversary we've teamed up with the Hampshire club and Score Draw to bring back the amazing retro home kits from 1987-88 and 1978-80.
The 1987-88 shirt was worn during Pompey's first season back in the First Division in almost 30 years. This Admiral classic kit, with alternating white and red pinstripes on the traditional blue base, is a fan favourite which was made famous by the likes of Micky Quinn and Paul Mariner and for a 2-0 victory away at bitter rivals Southampton.
Pompey's Past in the Present
The second release to celebrate 125 years of Pompey is the classic Admiral 1978-80 home kit, which was worn when the side won promotion from Division 4. The design will be familiar to Admiral kit fans from the 70s with the iconic logo on the v-neck collar and taping down the sleeve.
